FTE Passenger Traffic Working Group

From 13-14 February 2018 the Passenger Traffic Working Group FTE (WG FTE P) had a meeting chaired by SNCF Voyages, Stéphane Faivre-Rampant in Berne. We had 18 participants from CD, DB Fernverkehr, MAV-START, ÖBB, PKP Intercity, SBB, SNCF and Trenitalia.

The status of the TTR Project was presented by Peter Jäggy including the upcoming milestones until Dec. 18 and the three phases of the pilot lines. There are three pilots: 1. Mannheim – Miranda de Ebro (via Paris) 2. Munich – Verona 3. Rotterdam – Antwerp.

Matteo Soldini showed a short overview of the activities in PCS EEC realized from September 2017 until February 2018 and an outlook on future activities such as System Specifications by PCS EEC Core team, preparation of implementation, IT Development, Delivery of first Alpha Test Version, Testing Phase and the GO into production for planning tt2020 on 12 November 2018.

On the second day’s agenda was TAP-TSI and Train-ID where Stefan Schäfer and Matteo Soldini presented the final results of the Ad-hoc WG FTE Passenger Traffic Train-ID.

The next meeting of the Passenger WG FTE will be organized in September 2018.
