Forum Train Europe (FTE) is the European association of market participants using rail infrastructure. Its core mission is to improve the conditions and framework for market participants in European capacity and traffic management (planning and operations).
FTE and its community:
- produces analyses and consolidated technical proposals and provides them to expert bodies and partner associations,
- advocates these proposals to infrastructure managers and at the European legislative level,
- serves as the coordination platform for international harmonisation of new and existing traffic,
- provides a comprehensive network for exchange of experiences and contacts,
- supports its members in the practical implementation of the related European legislation.
